I am a former Title I educator that is now entering the world of educational technology.
After teaching in urban middle schools for five years, I have experienced how thoughtful design and equitable access to resources can impact learning.
In my previous role, I served on the district curriculum development team, I assisted with state assessment writing, and I collaborated daily with a cross-curricular team to meet the needs of all students.
As a DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging) practitioner, I helped ensure students and adults felt seen, supported, and able to learn.
One way I was able to promote a sense of belonging within my school was hosting after school clubs. Taylor Swift club was a favorite among students and teachers! The photo to the right is a group of Swifties making friendship bracelets, and new friends, under my watch.
“So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and chase it. You’ve got no reason to be afraid.”
Taylor Swift

As I transition into this next chapter, I am bringing that experience into the EdTech space.
I’m passionate about creating inclusive, data-informed solutions that reflect the realities of today’s classrooms using teacher and student input.
My goal is to bridge the gap between pedagogy and product, creating technology that truly works for all learners.
